Who do live illustrators work with?

I’d like to address a question I often hear: “Who do you work with?”

I work with a wide range of clients, and I’m always excited to collaborate with new types of organisations I haven’t yet had the chance to meet!

Live illustrator Vicky Hughes demonstrates digital live drawing on her iPad.

Whether you’re organising a corporate away day, a non-profit conference, or an academic event, I’ve got you covered. I’ve created murals for banks, live illustrated for charities, and partnered with academics to visually communicate their research.

Adaptibility as a live illustrator

If you’re concerned that I haven’t worked with your type of organisation or content before, please don’t worry! Flexibility and learning are key parts of my job - and honestly, they’re some of my favourite aspects. My background as a data analyst and statistician taught me how to apply my skills to almost any topic, and I bring that same adaptability to my illustration work. I love diving into research, discovering new ways to visualise ideas, and applying my skills to fresh challenges.

Understanding the project

Before we start any project, we’ll have a quick phone call to ensure I fully understand your needs. This is your chance to share any specific details or themes you want me to capture, so you can rest assured your event’s vision will be reflected in the artwork. Whether it’s incorporating specific colours, thoughtfully representing diversity, or focusing on particular imagery, I’m here to adapt to your needs.

Let’s work together

Every new client is a new opportunity for me to learn what’s important to them and translate that into meaningful, engaging artwork. Let’s work together to make your event truly memorable! Enquire here.
